An NTP is a practitioner who is trained in science based education focused on nutrition, lifestyle and supplements, professionally trained by the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) to evaluate nutritional needs and offer bio-individual and deeply personalized recommendations for food, lifestyle, and supplementation. NTPs take a food-first, holistic approach and focus on supporting your body's foundational systems — rather than treating or diagnosing any condition.
A Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) evaluates your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, and nutritional patterns to identify imbalances at the root that are contributing to your symptoms of fatigue, digestive upset, hormone imbalances, and persistent low energy. NTP's create customized wellness plans using nutrition, lifestyle change support, and foundational nutrition principles to help the body rebalance naturally. Coaching support is weaved in to support the individual with lasting changes.
No. As an NTP, I hold a certification from the Nutritional Therapy Association. I am not a Registered Dietitian (RD) or a licensed nutritionist. My role is in nutritional wellness education and coaching, not medical nutrition therapy (MNT). If you require clinical dietary management for a medical condition, I'll refer you to an appropriate licensed provider.
I am not trained or legally permitted to diagnose, treat, prescribe for, or cure any medical condition or disease. Nothing I share should be interpreted as medical advice. I work with you to evaluate your individual needs based on Interviews, assessments, Food and Mood Journal. My role is to educate and walk with you on your health journey — and to refer you to a licensed medical provider when that level of care is what you need.
